Arson - Wheelie bins set alight in Wymondham

Police are appealing for information after two arson incidents where wheelie bins were set on fire in Wymondham on Sunday (14 June) morning.

The first incident happened between 4.20am and 4.40am when a wheelie bin was set alight next to a property on Chandlers Close causing one man to be checked over by ambulance staff for smoke inhalation.

The second incident occurred between 1am and 10am when two bins were set alight outside a property on Back Lane. In both instances the bins suffered significant damage.

Anyone who may have seen anyone acting suspiciously in the area between the times stated or anyone with information should contact PC Steve Knightley at Wymondham Police Station on 101, or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
