Following yesterday's Tyne and Wear Fire Authority meeting, the Fire Authority agreed to initiate a 10-week public consultation on three proposed changes to the Service's operational response to incidents. The consultation will run from Monday November 5th and conclude on Monday January 14th and the public are invited to attend five consultation events across the region. Wednesday 21 November Wallsend Memorial Hall People's Centre 6-7:30pm.Wallsend Memorial Hall People's Centre 10 Frank Street, Wallsend NE28 6RN Thursday 22 November Kenton Sports Centre 6-7:30pm Kenton Sports Centre Newcastle upon Tyne NE3 3LN Monday 26 November Gateshead Civic Centre 6-7:30pm Gateshead Civic Centre Regent Street Gateshead NE8 1HH Tuesday 27 November Jarrow Hub 6-7:30pm Jarrow Community Centre Cambrian Street Jarrow NE32 3QN Thursday 29 November Washington Academy 6-7:30pm Washington Academy Spout Lane Washington NE37 2AA The survey for the general public is available on https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/IRMP2018 and will be publicised on the Service's social media platforms.
