Attendance within minutes…
written by windsorfirestation.co.uk on the 26th May 2011 at 13:38

On the 20 May the Windsor crew was sent to a house blaze in Tarbay Lane, Windsor. This is exactly as described-a lane, and the local knowledge and topography of the crew facilitated attendance within minutes of being mobilised from 17-35 hours. A further appliance was mobilised from Maidenhead.
Crews were at the scene for up to 1 1/2 hours.
The value of a local fire crew is clear to see.
