Police investigate damage to trees in Longtown

Police are investigating damage caused to several trees along the bank of the River Esk at The Scaur, Longtown.

The damage has taken place between the 11th to the 16th of April 2014. A number of trees have been completely felled and several others have sustained damage from the use of an axe.

Anyone with any information should call Cumbria Police on 101 and ask for PC Alisa Goodall, or call the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
